The client meeting and documentation
- Arrange meeting with the client
- Request they have creditor details available for meeting
- Complete Debt Solutions questionnaire and other documentation*
- Identify client needs
- Advise on options available to the client (could be re-mortgage, secured loan or debt solutions)
- If a debt solution is the best route, then identify whether the client could apply for a debt management plan and/or IVA
- Provide details to the client of each available route.
- Identify any shortfalls in protection
- Obtain opportunity to quote on existing protection and building and contents
- Submit application along with supporting documentation (*letter of authority, proof of income, proof of salary and proof of address).
